When We're Apart ....

I Miss You So Much !

Life is so different
when we're apart
and it will be weeks or even months
before we're together again,
I think about you
several times a day.
I wonder if you're making
new friends
and what new things
you're learning and doing.
But most of all, I wonder
if you know how much love
is sent your way every day.
You are so much a part of me,
and when we aren't together
if feels as if something
very important is missing ...
and that something is you.

Have to be Apart

 

Our wonderful family

is like a candle

that reflects its joy

within our hearts.

 

And it's like a fire

that keeps us

close and warm

no matter how long

we're apart.

 

I'd give anything

to be with you more often.

But at least we'll be together

in ways that will always

shine in our lives

and that will never stop

brightening up our days.

 

Each time I think of you,

I promise to send you

a kiss on the wind.

And I promise I'll be counting the days

until I can see you again.
